R-12
I'm not sure about the 1993 model but in the 2001 they don't have "Freon" (meaning R12) any more. The refrigerant is stored in that silver canister on the front left side of the engine-bay. R12 is expensive to replace. AC service providers are EPA licenced to service R12 & R134 systems, but they won't sell you the "stuff". So, you have to go to a service provider. I hope this helped. == 1993 Prizms still used Refrigerant-12, commonly known as "Freon". Later models use R-134. Refrigerant is distributed throughout the system. The excess refrigerant and oil is held in the drier/receiver. If you have a tight system and can afford it, stick with the R12. You will not regret it. Retrofit to R134 can be very problematic and expensive.

A 1993 Acura Legend requires 24 ounces of R134a refrigerant to refill the air conditioning system. This is applicable to all engine types for the 1993 Acura Legend.
Geo Prizm door handles are the same 1993-1997
A 1993 Cadillac Deville requires R-12 refrigerant for its air conditioning system. However, due to the phase-out of R-12 due to environmental regulations, many owners opt to retrofit their systems to use R-134a refrigerant. If retrofitting, it's important to ensure that the system is properly converted and compatible components are installed. Always consult a professional for the best approach to refrigerant changes.
A 1993 Dodge Dynasty uses R-134a refrigerant for its air conditioning system. If you're servicing or recharging the system, ensure that any old R-12 refrigerant is properly removed and that the system is compatible with R-134a. Always check the vehicle's specifications or the under-hood label for confirmation.
I have a 1996 Prizm, and it has a 10 Gallon tank. Yours is most likely the same.
