thats because it the easiest place to get access to the intake runner of the cylinder head. this is where it needs to inject the fuel to get into the combustion chamber. not very convenient to work on though.
Where your main intake hose connects to the top of the engine from the air filter box. That is called your upper intake manifold. The injectors are under there. I have removed the upper intake many times because of having to replace injectors on those style trucks. The Oem injectors from the factory are crap.
You have to remove the upper Intake Plenuem. ( The top of intake ) Then you will see 8 small plastic lines. On the ends of those are the Injectors, They are in the intake runners.
You have what is called a spider fuel injectors and it is located up underneath the intake manifold. You have what is called a spider fuel injectors, that is located under the intake manifold.
On a 1995 GMC Jimmy with a Vortec engine, the fuel injectors are located within the intake manifold, specifically under the upper intake manifold assembly. To access them, you typically need to remove the air intake assembly and the upper intake manifold. The injectors are mounted directly to the lower intake manifold and are connected to the fuel rail, which supplies them with fuel.
The fuel injectors will be located on a metal rail along the intake manifold. It could be a TBI (throttle body injection) The injector\injectors will be at the throttle body intake area. If this car still has a carburetor then it wont have injectors. Hope this helps you.
On a Lexus LS 400, the fuel injectors are located on the engine's intake manifold, specifically within the cylinder heads. To access them, the intake manifold usually needs to be removed, as the injectors are inserted directly into the engine's intake ports. This positioning allows them to efficiently deliver fuel into the combustion chamber.
The fuel injectors on a 3.1 are located under the upper intake manifold.
Fuel injectors take the place of a carburetor. They spray gasoline into the intake manifold just before the intake valves. Much cleaner burn and they don't leak like the old carburetors do.
On a 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe, the fuel injectors are located under the intake manifold. To access them, you'll need to remove the intake manifold, which involves disconnecting several components, including the air intake and throttle body. The injectors are mounted in the intake manifold and are responsible for delivering fuel to the engine's cylinders. Make sure to follow proper procedures and safety precautions when working on the fuel system.
On a 1997 Buick Skylark, the fuel injectors are located on the intake manifold, mounted directly to the engine. To access them, you typically need to remove the intake manifold cover and possibly other components, depending on the specific engine configuration. The injectors are positioned in the intake ports, where they spray fuel directly into the air entering the engine.
YES it does. They are underneath the intake Plenuem
Under the intake manifold, which is difficult to get off.
