Check the idle, if its fluctuating or falling than nomal. Usually, low idle causes stalling when coming into stops. Low idle, usually is due to dirty throttle, a leak in the vac hose, or a damaged MAF or IAC motor.
Stop or slow down? It sounds like a loose/worn suspension.
To make the car go or slow down.
The car will stop when you are no longer applying force to move it forward. Friction between the tires and the ground will gradually slow it down until it comes to a complete stop.
It increases air drag.
When the parachute is deployed at the back of the car, it creates drag force by catching air. This drag force acts in the opposite direction of the car's motion, slowing it down. By increasing the drag force, the parachute helps the speeding car slow down and stop more quickly.
The parachute creates drag by catching the air as the car moves, increasing air resistance and helping to slow down the car. This additional resistance counteracts the car's momentum, allowing it to stop more quickly than if it were relying solely on its brakes.
what would cause my car to slow down losing velocity and now won't start. will turn over but won't start. Ran out of fuel, Fuel pump failure,
bad idle, bad timing, needs tune up , etc.
The brake in a car is used to slow down or stop the vehicle. A driver should press the brake when they need to stop (such as at a stop sign or red light) or when they need to slow down (such as when moving into a lower speed zone).
the car should slow down and eventually stop if you keep on holding it
They should at least slow down.
"Brakes" make your car slow down.Additional answerSo does friction and air resistance and the rolling resistance of the rubber tyres.
