most likely cause is faulty wires. on that model they tend to get weak from the heat of the exhaust manifold and cause problems -while driving. I replace mine every 4 years. Could also be clogged fuel filter, bad plugs, distributor cap, vaccuum leaks, or clogged fuel injectors. Happened to me 3 times and it was usually wires. Try a tune up before anything else.
