The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is located in the throttle body a the end of the shaft opposite the throttle cable attachment. Some are permanent / no serviceable. Some can be replaced and with a little ingenuity/skill, even the permanent can be replaced as there are replacements available for all year models.
It has to be replaced. no adjustments.

The throttle position sensor is actually apart of the throttle plate actuator assembly and must be replaced as a unit.
It is the electronic part at the base of the accelerator pedal itself.

The throttle position sensor determines the amount of throttle used when the engine is running at various speeds. If the sensor is faulty, it can be replaced by ordering a new part.
Front of throttle body. All one piece, and wiring plugs in on passenger side
Clean the throttle position sensor and throttle plate, then use electrical contact cleaner to clean the air flow sensor at the air filter.
It's part of the throttle body, entire unit must be replaced.
