I would have the alternator tested. If the alternator is over charging the battery then it is just cooking it.
Bad wiring can cause a short in the radio. Bad battery will not.
A bad battery - one of the 'cells' can fail and cause there to be virtually no reserver: need a jump after leaving lights on for just a very short time.A bad alternator! If the voltage being sent to the battery from the alternator is too high / erratic, it'll drastically shorten the life of the battery.
plates in the battery are arcing together. causing battery to short out and get hot. could explode. or you have a dead short in system. both will cause battery to get very hot.
A short in electrical system within the battery where two cells short together.
Short to ground or overloaded circuit
No a bad batery could not cause the alternator to go bad .only if a big short happened to the battery and melted the cells in to a short inside the batt
A short in the wiring.
there is a short some where in the electrical system... or a bad battery.
Unless you have a short-circuit somewhere the battery is u/s
It's possible. Not likely to be the battery itself it that happens, though.
A short circuit.
If I had to guess I would say you have a short in the electrical system that slowly drains the battery as it sits.
