Internal combustion engines produce a lot of heat, and need to be cooled. There are three things that carry excess heat away from the engine; air, oil, or radiator fluid.
Whenever an engine is overheating, one of these three things is not circulating properly through or around the engine. Check the radiator and make sure that air can get through. Drain and flush the radiator and coolant, and make sure that there is sufficient coolant (water & anti-freeze) and that it is circulating properly. Change the engine oil.
Any steering column from a 1986-91 Eldorado would work - a comparable Seville's should work equally as well.
your serpentine belt came off probably I just bought a 1996 Eldorado with this same problem. The car won't overheat because there is another belt and tensioner on the other side of the engine for this. Check the belt tensioner the spring probably broke causing the serpentine belt to be loose and fling off.
Replace your thermostat.
if it is using trnasmission fluid you could have a bad tansmission modulator. take it to a shop
Blown head gasket or bad radiator cap
Its located where your left foot would be if you were driving ( upper left corner under the dash).
There are a number of places one can purchase a Cadillac Eldorado. A good place to start would be the manufacturer's website. Another great place would be a local dealer. Finally, you could check classifieds and eBay motors.
Any window from a 1992-2002 Eldorado would work as they were all the same in those years
i would say only other eldorado's because they were front wheel drive v8's...
cracked head, or leaking head gasket, or cracked block
i would say the cadillac eldorado...just a good guess lol...
