the timing belt may have jumped a sprocket check all the timing belt marks to assure proper tinning.
Have you checked for fuel and spark? Camshaft sensor and or crank sensor will cause that problem as well!
Yes, that is one of many possibilities.
A bad camshaft position sensor will cause a engine to run very rough or not run at all. Replacing the camshaft sensor is very complicated.
It sure can.
If the camshaft sensor is not operating properly, then the engine could suffer lower mpg. The sensor is what causes the engine to fire at the proper times and this is critical for better economy.
one of two things, the upper o2 sensor or the camshaft position sensor
it can, but i would check the ignition control module first....then the crank sensor.....
This would depend on your nose. A bad CMP sensor may cause improper burning of the fuel and can give a smell out the tailpipe. Will the CMP smell? Never. A Ford camshaft syncronizer will squeek and could cause a metallic burning smell.
Yes, a faulty camshaft sensor can prevent the fuel pump from activating. The engine control unit (ECU) relies on input from the camshaft sensor to determine the correct timing for fuel injection and ignition. If the sensor fails, the ECU may not trigger the fuel pump relay, leading to a no-start condition. However, other issues could also cause a fuel pump not to activate, so it's essential to diagnose the problem thoroughly.
Yes it can
yes
Camshaft position sensor. There is a recall for them i believe. It will cause cutting out and stalling. It happened to ours too. Camshaft position sensor. There is a recall for them i believe. It will cause cutting out and stalling. It happened to ours too.
