i'm guessing the light switch is getting old and worn....good luck also everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and the library should have a professional manual available...in the reference section, you'll have to make copies of the important sections...good luck :)
i know this will sound silly but first make sure the headlights themselves are not blown.you would be surprised how many Kia's come into my shop with headlights not working and all the headlights are blown. after that get a volt meter and disconnect the light and test to see if you have power , remember the dimmer switches are famous for cold solder joints and will also cause this problem.
I'm having the exact same problem. Does anyone have any idea, please? I have a Santa Fe 2003, Manual, 2.4 - V4
You can adjust the headlights on a Saab 9.3 using the switches inside of the car. There should be a function to turn the highlights on, off and bright.
Where are the relay switches on a 1999 Buick Century for the headlights
Easy. There is no Buick LeSabre "Deluxe".
There is a relay switch in the circuit which switches the light on & off when you activate the turn signal.
Start by checking your fuses. Then bulbs. Then switches in that order.
Price is not always relatve to quality,it is more an indicator of the age of the technology.
The dimmable light flickers because the voltage supplied to it fluctuates, causing the light to dim and brighten rapidly. This fluctuation can be due to incompatible dimmer switches, low-quality bulbs, or electrical issues.
Perhaps they are already switched on at the switches inside the car.
Turned out to be a bad earth in the engine compartment. I had degreased the engine and knocked out some of the crud around the earthing point. The earthing wire was subsequently loose. Got an electrical fault? CHECK ALL THE EARTH CONNECTIONS FIRST!!! I had checked all the switches, relays and connectors I could get at before checking the earth connections...
Diodes perform a different function as switches. switches allow you to control wether or ot electricity is flowing. diodes only allow power to flow in one direction. A light emitting diode may be used as an indicator for wether or not power is flowing through a circuit.
