sounds like the cam bearings may be going bad
It has a 2.2L and i have replaced fuel pressure regulator plugs map sensor and to other sensors on the throttle body. Driving habits may be an issue.
A fuel rail pressure regulator could cause trouble.
Could be a leaking oil pressure sensor. High pressure sensor is located on the housing above the oil filter and the low pressure sensor is located on the driver side of the engine block. If you see oil leaking around either sensor then this may be the problem. They are not difficult or expensive to replace as they simply bolt on and can be purchased at your local dealer for around $10. Your low pressure sensor could be faulty. There is a high pressure sensor and a low pressure sensor on your car. After driving, heat and movement of oil throughout the engine are the cause. However, the sensor could be faulty thus reading the low pressure being too low (like at low rpms and you have to gear down on a manual to get the rpms up and the light disappears). Shouldn't cost more than 80 bucks to have a mechanic replace it. Just make sure they know which is the LOW pressure sensor.
yes
Driving with a faulty fuel tank pressure sensor can be risky, as it may lead to incorrect readings of the fuel system's pressure. This could cause issues such as poor engine performance, increased emissions, or even potential damage to the fuel system. While it may be possible to drive short distances, it’s advisable to have the sensor checked and replaced to ensure safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.
No, it has nothing to do with that.
my oil pressure goes up while I'm driving and back down when I stop what could cause that
Problem with Crank sensor will cause 2001 Grand Prix not start when warm until it cool down? will this problem also cause vehicle to stall while driving?
Symptoms of a bad fuel pressure sensor include poor engine performance, such as rough idling, stalling, or difficulty starting the vehicle. You may also notice a decrease in fuel efficiency and an illuminated check engine light. Additionally, fluctuations in fuel pressure can lead to erratic acceleration or a lack of power during driving. If the sensor fails completely, it may cause the engine to run too rich or too lean, leading to further complications.
Driving through flood water would cause the ignition to fail and stall the engine.
The mass air sensor sometimes would cause this problem
It could, along with many others causes.
