According to www.fuel economy.gov ( no spaces ) 19 city / 24 highway / 21 combined These figures are for the U.S. gallon

I just drove back from Dallas to Springdale, AR, averaging between 50 and 55 mph and got 37 mpg with a 2000 Ranger, 2.5L, 5-speed with 103000 miles.
