The performance shift in a GTP (Gas Turbine Powerplant) can typically be activated during specific operational conditions, such as when the turbine reaches a certain temperature or load threshold. This feature is often employed to optimize efficiency and power output during peak demand periods. It's important to follow the manufacturer's guidelines and operational protocols to ensure safe and effective activation. Always consult the specific operational manual for your GTP model for precise instructions.
This is the "performance shift mode" for the transmission. It moves the shift points a little higher and makes the shifts a little firmer. Hope this helps "G"
install shift kit by removing trans or drop pan and install upgraded solnoids in valve body
Its causes gear shifts at high throttle at 5800 rpms instead of at 3800 - 4400 as stock computer will do in GTP
how to activate underscore in keyboard
Do you have the performance shift on? Its the button on the side of the shifter. Pushed in is "Perf Mode" released out is normal mode. at night you will see it in green on the left, top side of the gauge cluster. If that's not it check the tranny fluid level.
press Ctrl+Shift+C at the same time
Try a Fram or a K&N for performance but they are flat.
The transmission doesnt have a modulator. Shift points and pressures are controlled by the PCM.
If you mean engine performance, then it has 240 hp and 280 lbs of torque
Makes the tranny shift at higher rpms when activated.
To deactivate (or to activate filter keys) hold down shift for eight seconds.
A gtp, both are nice cars indeed, your 0 to 60 is 7.5 vs 6.6, mind you its a supercharged motor so of course itll have more performance. It also depends on the wear and tear in a real world race, as for new vs new, gtp is the winner.
