The ecotech engines spark plugs are located under the cylinder head cover on the engine. There are four bolts that you have to remove first and possibly depending on the model you may have to loosen a clip that holds another wire in place. Once the cover is off you will be able to locate the plugs easily. I finally found the info on the net because we were having the same problem. Hope that helps.

if you have the 2.2 liter ecotec engine, they are located right on top of the engine, they are located under the top black piece that says ecotec on it.
