Where are the height sensors for the air suspension system on a 1994 Lincoln Continental?

height sensors are usually located on the top of the air strut underneath the hood of the car. There may be a plastic cover over the sensor that holds all the wires in it that go to the vehicle, if you take it off you should see the sensor, cant miss it. in the trunk there is no covering so you should be able to get to it. hope this helps.

possibly the height sensors came unplugged rear or front but that will dissable the pump.

I wish but at this moment there is not. I have put a call in to complain as we are once again at the dealer replacing height sensors. I think Ford/Lincoln need to offer conversion kits and reimburse for repairs. There is something definitely not right about the build of this suspension.

you have to have a special height sensor tool that can adjust it for you, go to the local parts store and see if they sell it, or if your lucky enough to have a friend that has one.
Where is the air suspension fuse in a 85 Lincoln continental?
I don't know about a fuse or if there is one but there is an off switch in the trunk so the car don't adjust while jacking the car up. The suspension compressor is turned on by the ride height sensors 1 in the rear and 2 at the front one at each tire. My 85 Continental had a air leak where the air lines go into the compressor cost $5 to fix with epoxy from the auto store.

Bad height sensor or air suspension compressor has died? If you hear the pump, then it might be the sensors. If there's nothing, could be a blown fuse or the system was swtiched off (switch in the trunk)

If the front of the car is at a normal height I would suspect the ride height sensors to be bad they are located at the bottome of the air spring assembly i believe. Its been awhile since ive looked at it.
