thrust bearing is located on the transmission shaft in the bell housing, sometimes called a throw out bearing. its use is to operate the clutch
remove the transmission......the proper term is a clutch release bearing
A person can bleed the clutch on a Ford Transit Van by hooking a bleeder hose to the slave cylinder, placing it into a small jar of hydraulic fluid, and loosing the bleeder screw. The clutch is then slow pressed until no air bubbles are present.
To fit a clutch cable to a Ford Transit van, first, ensure the vehicle is securely lifted and supported if necessary. Remove the old cable by disconnecting it from the clutch pedal and the clutch release mechanism at the gearbox. Install the new cable by threading it through the appropriate guides and securing it to the clutch pedal and gearbox. Finally, adjust the cable tension as needed and test the clutch operation before lowering the vehicle.

On a 2003 Ford Transit, the clutch reservoir is typically located near the back of the engine bay, on the driver's side. It is usually mounted on or near the master cylinder for the clutch, which is often found near the firewall. The reservoir is a small plastic container, often labeled, making it easier to identify. Always consult the vehicle’s manual for specific details and diagrams.
