small block and big block motor mounts are the same, so you should be able to take V8 motor mounts from most any Chevy engine bay.
replace the engine with a small block chev
No.
No, because the small block Chev fits so well
Standing in the front of the engine, It will be on the right back side of the distributor. It will have an electric wire pluged into the top of it and it will screew into the engine block.
It will bolt in the same as any big block Chev
Depends on the year but most use SAE 10w30.
The Oldsmobile block is a different Bell housing pattern than the Chev But Most 305 were the Chev engine regardless what GM product they popped up in
on the bottom of the block on the left side( when facing the vehicle)
No thay are not even close.
No it will not, not even close.
A big block will fit into a 1951 chev truck. But with quite a bit of mods. Motor mounts will have to be fabricated or purchased, the cooling system will have to be upgraded, but the biggest challenge is the steering gearbox. It will need to move about 2 inches to the left in order to clear the engine and headers. There is a ton of work that would go into this swap. But it can and has been done before.
not a nice job to change oilpan on a chev, u need to unbolt engine mounts and jack engine up so u get enuff clearance to remove oil pan
