Refer to owners manual. If not should be located under the hood in a black box drives side fender . The lid has a release and the main fuses are in there. Turn the lid over a map of the fuses is there
Check the daytime running light module
You have to remove dayltime light sensors, or reprogramm the computer. Also you can find the fuse for daytime lights and remove it.
I'm not a mechanic/technician but I believe that is a defective daytime running lamp (DRL) module
Loose connection SOMEWHERE. It could be a defective DRL (daytime Running Light) module
see http://forums.torontoaccords.com/viewtopic.php?t=23818&highlight=driving+light
A daytime running light module (DRL) is a unit that controls a 2-4 headlight system on most standard vehicles. On the 1999 Ford Ranger, the module can be found in front of the left wheel well on the front side of the rad support.
Yes it should while running apply parking brake should go out also should have a little green light on in the instrument cluster when running to indicate being on
yes
I have never seen one. If you want them off you have to press on the emergency brake a little.
Fuse #9
I take it you have daytime running lights , if so by engaging the emergency / parking brake the daytime running lights should go off
To fix or disconnect the daytime running lights on a 1999 Grand Prix, you could begin by checking the running light fuse. If the fuse is damaged or blown, you can replace it to fix the lights. Remove the fuse if you want to disable to the lights.
