The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is located near the throttle body on the intake manifold.
its on the end of the throttle shaft on the throttle body
Is on the pas danger side of the intake a little being the throttle body
The TPS is not happy with the readings from the map sensor. More than Likely you have a bad sensor.
rear window defroster relay in a 97 Pontiac firebird
the dont make one you can get one made though but it has to be custom made from scratch and it is specialy made to fit the car and its going to cost alot
Radar
To the best of my knowledge, the 97 does not have a MAP sensor. It uses a Mass Airflow sensor instead, and that is located in the intake boot either next to the air filter housing, or in the housing itself.
Bolts to the front of the throttle body.
The Mas Air Flow sensor is located on the top of the throttle body. If you open the hood and look at the throttle body in the middle front of the engine you will see it. Very easy to access. TC
