well what is the engine size, if its a 2.9 its under the driver side of the cab right rear the bell housting

WHAT? Its right in front of the driver.
Follow the positive battery cable from the battery, it will lead you right to the starter.
connect it to the starter mounting bolt underneath.
The knob you pull is right under the steering wheel on the dash!
Slide in under the truck behind the passenger side front wheel and look up at the rear side of the engine and you will see the starter.
