In order to tell you where bank 2 is I must tell you where bank 1 is first . Bank 1 on ALL vehicles is always the same side as the #1 cylinder / spark plug . Bank 2 is the opposite side from bank 1 on ALL vehicles that have 2 banks. On a Concorde bank 1 is on the right (passenger) side and bank 2 on the left (drivers) side .
Oxygen sensors are numbered with #1 being closest to the engine and #2 further from the engine. #1 is generally before the catalytic converter and #2 is after the cat.
P0060 - heated oxygen sensor bank2 sensor 2 heater resistance p0062 - heated oxygen sensor bank2 heater control circuit
its connected to Muffler & Exhaust
The bank 2 pre cat O2 sensor is in the rear exhaust manifold, the bank2 post cat O2 sensor is under the car after the catalytic converter, P/S nest to transmission.
if it is a V8 bank 2 is on the right (passenger side). sensor 1 is before the catalytic converter (sensor 2 is after)
Passenger side is bank 2. Sensor 1 is in front of the Cat., and sensor 2 is in back of the Cat.
bank2 - opposite side of cylinder #1 sensor 1 - in front of cat converter
bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine , and sensor 1 is near the engine before the exhaust passes through the catalytic converter , sensor 2 is after the catalytic converter
bank 1 is upstream bank2 is downstream sensor1 is on cylinder1 side upstream sensor 2 is the other side usually passinger side, bank 2 refers to sensor after converter
Bank 1 is the drivers side of the engine and bank 2 is the other side.
Bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine in a Ford Explorer ( V6 and V8 )
96 has 2 one in front. there is no bank2 on I-4 motors S1 is always the front sensor S2 is the rear (behind CAT)
On a Lincoln Town Car : Bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine Sensor 2 is AFTER the exhaust has passed through the catalytic converter
