The vacuum line for the heater control valve is typically located near the engine compartment, connected to the intake manifold or the vacuum source of the engine. It runs to the heater control valve, which is usually situated on or near the firewall, allowing it to regulate coolant flow to the heater core based on the position of the temperature control inside the vehicle. Checking the vehicle's service manual can provide specific details for your make and model.
