If you are asking this question, then your dipstick has probably broken off. Some idiot designed it to be made of plastic, which breaks off flush with the opening. We've replaced the dipstick on my wife's car several times.
If the engine is the 4-cyl 2.0, standing at the front of the engine, look for a hole in the head (similar to the one the designer had in his) just to the left side of the valve cover, about half way front to rear. The hole will appear to be plugged with a piece of plastic. That's what's left of your dipstick. Remove it with a small pair of needle-nose pliers and pay a visit to your local dealer's parts department, because replacement dipsticks can only be found at a dealership.
above the gas tank in the rear of the truck.....you have to get under the tracker to get to it. its easy to change :)
I use pliers to pull mine but I still have a bit of the plastic still there, only the pull ring broke off
you go to a mechanic :)

Through the dipstick tube
It should be the same as a 2002 tracker, behind the manifold, just to the left at the very back of the motor, small dipstick says ATF on it, you will need a funnel designed just for adding transmission fluid, opening very small. Hope this helps.
with regular oil changes I've got 250,000 + on my 98 tracker
Back passenger side of engine.
The transmission dipstick on a 2003 RSX is located toward the back of the motor on the driver's side. It usually has a bright colored handle, so that it can be easily seen.
In a 2003 Chevy Tracker, the flasher relay is typically installed in the fuse box located under the dashboard on the driver's side. You may need to remove a cover to access the relay. It's usually a small, rectangular component that can be pulled out and replaced if necessary. Always refer to the owner’s manual for specific details on the location and installation process.
My 2003 Chevy Tracker would not restart when it was hot and finally would stall & not restart until it sat and cooled off for 10 minutes. It would crank but not start. We replaced the camshaft it solved the problem. It was located at the back of the engine, at the top and is held by just one screw.
