where is the erg valve located on a 2005 DuraMax 2500
In a 2005 Duramax diesel engine, the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve is located on the driver’s side of the engine, typically mounted on the intake manifold. It recirculates a portion of the exhaust gases back into the intake system to reduce emissions. Accessing the EGR can be somewhat challenging due to the surrounding components, so proper care should be taken when working in that area.
The EGR valve on a 2005 GMC Sierra SLE 3500 with a 6.6L Duramax diesel engine is located on the driver's side of the engine, near the rear. It is mounted to the intake manifold. Accessing it may require removing certain components, such as the engine cover, to reach it easily.
On the egr valve.
It is in the front of the engine, to the right of the thermostat housing.
It is in the middle between the intake and the water pump.
2002 5.3 Chevy don't have egr valves factory removed them in 2002
there isnt one after 2002 for 5.3 and 4.8 models for sure
The egr position sensor is part of the egr vavle.
yes they do... Or at least on a duramax
The EGR valve, on your 2005 Mitsubishi, is located beneath the air cleaner. Remove the air cleaner housing. The valve should be visible and labeled.
On a 2007 Duramax engine, the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve is typically located on the driver's side of the engine, near the rear of the cylinder head. It is connected to the intake manifold and the exhaust system. Accessing it may require removing other components, so refer to the vehicle’s service manual for detailed instructions.
It is right beside of the thermostat housing, Right side of it. 2 bolts hold it on.
