With the hood open and you standing in front of the car looking at the engine wondering what it is you are looking for, take a peek at the northeast corner of the intake manifold. The EGR valve will have an electrical plug with wires coming out of toward the front of the engine. If you were to disconnect this plug you can look into the plug and see 5 pins, telling you that this is indeed the plug for the EGR valve.

1999 Buick Century low pressure A/C valve for adding R-134a refrigerant (freon). The low pressure A/C valve is located in about the upper center of the firewall to the right of the heater core inlet and outlet (right side - as if your sitting in the driver's seat). Look for a black plastic cap behind the transaxle (red-handled) dipstick.

The low pressure is located on top of the accumulator. It is on the passenger side of the engine bay.
