EGR valve is on drivers side on top of the motor near the rear the transmission dipstick tube is probably on one of the bolts that hold it on not real hard to change just expensive the valve itself is not cheap. and make sure you change both gaskets were it bolts to the intake there is one under the valve itself and on the under side of the intake were the metal pipe is at
