Generally speaking. The IAT sensor will be located on the intake hose after your air filter and before the engine. It is usually connnected into the hose at a 90 degree angle. It has a connector on it. Undo the connector then pull it out. It usually is just held in by a grommet. Sorry I couldn't be model specific, but they are almost all the same or very similar in design. some.
The ECT (Electronic Coolant Temperature) sensor is located under the intake manifold on the driver's side on a 1995 Taurus SHO 3.2 liter. It is on the cylinder head.
It is integral with the Maf sensor on the air box
The MAF and IAT Sensors are both in the MAF, one piece in most cases. On the side of the air intake hose.
On a Ford Taurus SE, the intake air temperature sensor 1 is typically located in the intake manifold or near the air intake duct. It measures the temperature of the air entering the engine, which helps in adjusting the air-fuel mixture for optimal performance. For precise location details, it's advisable to consult the vehicle’s service manual or a repair guide specific to the model year.
The coolant temperature sensor on an 89 Taurus with a 3.8L V-6 is located directly above the thermostat, where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine. the sensor is positioned vertically and has 2 wires coming off of it.
Next to the thermostat housing.
It is located on the rightside of the intake manifold, infront the intake air tubing, sensor is in a vertical position, straight down in to the manifold.
The coolant temperature sensor is located near the thermostat housing. The sensor is gray and sits alongside of the temperature sending unit(for your gauge) which is usually brown.
Hi, I know there is one temperature sensor located right near the thermostat, which one or what exactly are you looking for? Steve H.
