Price this part out at any GM dealer and ask them to print out a picture of the part; this will show you the location of it on your engine. This is a free service. Mark looking at the top of the engine at 12 00 you will c a large hose that fits in the back of your intake its at the left of that hose
Should be by the alternator in the back
The intake rear...next to Alternator...This is what I have found out.
The MAP Sensor is on the back side of the engine, toward the top-middle. There should be a bracket w/ a hose coming out of the center. The MAP Sensor should be just to the left of the hose (Passenger Side).
The MAP sensor on a Trailblazer is the Manifold Air Positioning sensor. It is located on the top of the engine.
The MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) Sensor on a 2000 Chevy Suburban is located on the very top of the motor. It is all the way to the back of the motor. There is nothing behind it.

The MAP sensor is mounted to the firewall on the passenger side between the inner fender and the heater duct.
