most o2 sensors on any car are located in the exhaust you should have 1 before that cat and 1 after and they are cylinder shaped with 4 wires coming out
Im the exhaust pipe.
on the rear exhaust manifold, directly behind the motor
To replace the O2 sensor on a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix with a 3.1L engine, first, ensure the vehicle is cool and then disconnect the negative battery cable. Locate the O2 sensor, which is typically found in the exhaust manifold or downstream in the exhaust pipe. Use an O2 sensor socket to unscrew the old sensor, then install the new sensor by threading it in and tightening it securely. Finally, reconnect the battery cable and check for any engine codes.
The o2 sensors on the 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT are found screwed into the exhaust pipe. There are 2 of these on the 2002 Grand Am GT.
You can not.
The upstream O2 sensor is mounted in the ehxaust manifold The downstream O2 sensor is mounted in the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter
This is one of the two sensors which is downstream directly after the catalytic converter.
It depends on which o2 sensor.
In the exhaust pipe.
