pcv valve location on 98 ford explorer
PCV valve located on a 2003 ford f150 4.2?
On a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac : I believe the PCV valve is on the REAR of the drivers side engine valve cover ( between the valve cover and the firewall )
On my 1995 the PCV valve is on the engine valve cover , on the driver side , near the rear of the valve cover
behind center of manifold intake.
Change the pcv valve in the valve cover.
The PCV valve for your 1996 Ford Explorer - 5.0 L - V8 engine is at the back of the intake manifold - according to my Haynes repair manual
To change the PCV valve on a 2007 Ford Explorer 4.0, first, locate the PCV valve, which is typically found on the valve cover. Disconnect the vacuum hose attached to the valve, then twist and pull out the old PCV valve. Insert the new PCV valve into the opening, ensuring it fits snugly, and reattach the vacuum hose. Finally, start the engine to check for any leaks and ensure proper operation.
Probably on a valve cover towards the back of the engine.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I believe the ELECTRIC heated PCV valve on a 2004 Ford Explorer , 4.0 liter V6 engine is located : ON THE REAR of the drivers side engine valve cover between the valve cover and the firewall )
