Near the hinges in the driver's side door jamb.
There is no vin number located anywhere on the frame of a 69 impala
stamped on a plate attached to left front body hinge pillar
as far as I know there is no vin# on the frame.
In 1963, the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) was typically located on the driver's side door frame or on the dashboard near the windshield. It is a 13-digit number that uniquely identifies a vehicle and can sometimes be found on the title or registration documents as well.

The vin # is located on the driver side of the cowl above the brake master cylinder/brake booster on the cowl tag. The 1968 chevy vin # does not have a letter or # that tells if the car is a super sport or not. 1967 was the last year that an impala ss was identified in the vin #.
Hi, the color or paint code is not in the VIN number. There should be a sticker on the under side of your trunk lid. It has the VIN and also several other groups of numbers. The color code is a number, at the bottom of the sticker and normally begins with "U" my impala is blue and the code is U 353E.

a true supersport should be full of ss"badges" or take your vin# to a gm dealer they can run the # and it will tell you
frame
I don't have a 63 impala but if I did and there were ss badges on it I would want to know for sure if it was real, you can check the serial # on the vin to be sure.
The Vin number is usually located on the side of the driver side door.
