It should be the plug on the intake just before the Throttle Body.
I believe the Intake Air Temp Sensor is the plug on the back side of the intake tube.
Where is the Air Intake temperature sensor located on a 1997 dodge ram 1500?
The air intake temperature sensor can be found on the top of your manifold intake. The sensor will be right in the middle of the intake manifold.
On the air intake tube, between the filter and the throttle body. It's the only thing that is attached to the tube.
I believe the IAT is the plug that is on the intake tube, between the filter and throttle body.
the Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IAT) could also be called the Manifold Air Temperature Sensor (MAT) some instances they are both.
INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR HIGH
I believe it's on the air intake tube, between the filter and throttle body.
the iat is built into the mass air flow sensor attached to the intake tube
On a 2002 Dodge Intrepid, the intake air sensor, commonly referred to as the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor, is typically located in the intake manifold or air intake duct. It is often positioned near the air filter or throttle body, where it can accurately measure the temperature of the incoming air. To locate it, look for a small sensor with an electrical connector attached to it along the air intake path.
There are two, the ambient air temp sensor on the cold air intake just before the filter. And the Intake temp sensor on the intake itself (throttle body after the MAF.)
