Yes alot of alarm system disable the ignition one way or another some by turning of the 12 volt to the ignition some by killing the 12 volt to the starter motor.
The factory alarm is disarmed by unlocking the doors with a key or remote.
If you are talking the FACTORY alarm system on a 2000 Ford Explorer there is no glass break sensor , you have to open a door to set off the armed alarm system after the glass is broken

Many camries have manufacture alarm system. You Camry has it, that's why it beeps when you lock the car. It sets yp the alarm system in the position ON.
take the relay out of your fuse box that is for the alarm system. no relay means no power to the alarm system, not a fix but good enough to get you by until you can find the real problem and fix it
The factory alarm can not be disabled. It is part of the body and engine computers. It is reset by unlocking the doors with a key or remote.
