The fuse in my 98 was under the hood right behind the battery iside a Black box. There are also relays and other fuses there as well. My blower quit intermitantly and if I tapped on the top of the fuse or even just remove and put right back in, it would be fine for a while again.

Your truck has both. the resistor is between the switch & blower.thje resistor controls the blower speed

The 1997 Dodge ram blower motor is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The blower motor will be near the bottom, passenger side, firewall.
either the control head is bad or there is a blower motor resistor that is bad.
its located under the glove box....only 3 bolts holding it in place...its really easy to change
