The Blower motor should be under the dash on the passenger side. It is easily accessible and can be removed by taking out the three screws and wire harness.
the blower switch itself is located in the instrument panel. it adjust the speed of the blower. the blower resistor, if that is what you are looking for,is located beside the blower motor under the pass. side of the dash
Resistor is located behind the blower motor assembly.
Try looking under the passenger side foot area. The blower motor will be there, and the blower motor resistor should be there also, will have a wiring harness and I believe 2 bolts holding it.
Most are up underneath the dashboard. Turn on the heater blower motor and listen where the sound is coming from. The heater core is behind that sound.
Please email me a photo of where the blower motor resistor is and how to change it. Thanks, Michael. By the way I want it for a 2000 Sunfire not a Grand Am.
The heater blower motor in a 1995 Pontiac Transport is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment. It is on the firewall near the hood hinge.
Dash ground is loose.
Your wiring is probably messed up, happened to me. Locate the wires from the blower to the controls check them and replace as needed. Assuming no wiring problem check and replace the blower motor resistor.
the resistor is directly behind the blower motor under the dash
on the back of the motor wright below the crank sensor
# Disable the airbag system before working # Remove the lower right dash insulator panel for access to the blower motor # Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor and remove the three screws from the blower housing # Pull the blower motor and fan straight down # To remove the fan from the blowr motor, use a narrow punch and tap the shaft out of the fan assembly.
On my 2002 Sunfire it's under the dash on the passenger side.
