On a Ford Falcon, the boot light switch is typically located on the boot lid or near the latch mechanism. It is designed to activate the interior light when the boot is opened. You can usually find it as a small button or plunger that engages when the boot is closed. If you have trouble locating it, referring to the vehicle’s manual may provide more specific guidance.
The boot light must be staying on.Check the switch.

It is usually fairly simple to remove the boot strut on a BA Falcon. Simply remove the metal clips that are on either end of the strut. If the clips are rusted into place, however, you may need to clean them first.
1. Switch ON the computer. 2. Press F2 3. Select the drive you're using to boot.

Just turn it on with the power switch.
There is a switch covered with rubber on the door post. depress the switch boot, if a resistance is not felt the switch fell away and is behind the panel. sometimes when the seatbelt is about this area when the door is closed the seatbelt will push the switch away. use a 8 or 9mm socket to remove the rubber boot. remove the panel and attach the switch to the boot. replace the panel and secure the rubber boot. make sure there is resistance when pushing in the switch.
