The cam sensor on a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country is on the passenger side top of the engine next to where the motor mount bracket attaches.
It is on the top rear of the transmission bell housing.
The sensor in the distributor is the crankshaft position sensor.

The crankshaft position sensor on a 3.5L Chrysler Pacifica is located next to the motor, toward the rear. It can be found next to the transmission.
