On a 2007 Chevy Impala with a 3.5L engine, the crankshaft position sensor is located near the bottom of the engine, typically on the engine block near the crankshaft pulley. It is often positioned on the rear side of the engine, close to the transmission bell housing. To access it, you may need to remove some components for better visibility and reach.
The 2002 Chevy Impala throttle position sensor can be found on the top of the engine. The throttle position sensor will be near the injector fuel pump.
You may have to remove your AC unit to get to it to replace it. Looks to be under and to the right of the water pump and about t 11 O'clock from the crank pully
The 2001 Chevy Impala vacuum module can be found on the back of the engine. The vacuum module valve will be near the top of the engine.
To replace the fuel pressure sensor in a 2004 Chevrolet Impala, first, relieve the fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and running the engine until it stalls. Next, disconnect the battery and locate the fuel pressure sensor, which is typically found on the fuel rail. Unscrew the old sensor using a wrench, then install the new sensor by threading it in place and reconnecting any electrical connectors. Finally, reconnect the battery, replace the fuel pump fuse, and check for leaks before starting the engine.
The oil sensor can be found on the left side of the engine. The sensor will be near the front of the engine.
The only information I have found on this one is that it is located in the coolant pump.
To install a temperature gauge on a 2003 Chevy Impala, first, locate the engine's coolant temperature sensor, typically found near the thermostat housing. Disconnect the battery, then remove the existing sensor and replace it with the new temperature gauge sensor, ensuring it's securely fitted. Connect the gauge's wiring to the sensor and route the gauge to the dashboard, securing it in place. Finally, reconnect the battery and test the gauge for proper function.
The 1997 Ford Explorer ambient temperature sensor can be found on the bottom of the drivers side mirror. The engine coolant temperature sensor can be found on the front of the engine.
The Chevrolet Corsica 3.1 liter engine crank sensor can be found on the back of the engine. You will need to remove the rear engine cover in order to access the crank sensor.
The knock sensor, in your 1997 Chevrolet Lumina, can be found on the front of the engine. The knock sensor is near the top of the engine.
The throttle position sensor (TPS) on a Chevy Impala is typically located on the throttle body, which is usually found near the intake manifold. It is mounted on the side of the throttle body and measures the position of the throttle plate, providing input to the engine control module. Accessing the TPS may require removing certain components for better visibility and reach, depending on the specific model year.
The 2006 Chevy Impala water pump can be found on the front of the engine. You can follow the top radiator hose directly to the water pump.
