On a 1986 Ford F-250, the dual tank fuel switch is typically located on the dashboard, near the steering column or to the left of the steering wheel. It may be a simple toggle or a push-button switch used to alternate between the front and rear fuel tanks. If you're having trouble locating it, consult the owner's manual for a specific diagram or details.
i am assuming you mean the switch for changing from one tank to the second tank if this is correct, either the switch on dash is faulty or the actual changeover valve on chassis rail is faulty
Is there a rocker switch just to the right of the headlight switch ?
Should be 19 gal for the front tank and 18.2 gal for the rear tank.
What is the question? Questions typically start with Who, What, Where When, Why or How... This is a comment... Thanks!
1988 Ford F250 front tank is 19 gallons and rear is 18.2.
The fuel tank switch is on the right side of your heat switches, it goes up and down to select the tank you want main or aux.
only way to drain tank on f250 is to a, syphon fuel and remove tank b, disconect fuel supply line at tank
Attached to the frame on the driver side just about under where the driver would sit.
It is inside of the fuel tank.
it is on the dash board by the heater and ac. it says front fuel rear.
My F350 has two pumps, one in each tank. The tank switch turns each pump on.
In the same panel as the heater controls. It's the switch to the far right labeled "front, rear"
