Located on the bottom left side of the radiator, next to the lower hose. There are several sensors on the 1.5 liter. The engine coolant temperature sensor you're referring to (I think) is located in the intake manifold, at the left hand side of the head. I always get the guage sender and this coolant sensor confused, they are adjacent to each other. Unplug one then check your guage when engine is hot, this will cause the guage to fail to register a temp, and you can identify the proper sensor.
burn that pos wow you can do better than that where is the coolant temp sensor on3.3 engine on a 98 dodge caravan
The coolant temperature sensor on a 2001 Ram is next to the thermostat housing, behind the alternator.
The engine coolant temperature sensor is the two wire sensor near where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine.
The coolant temp sensor screws into the side of the engine. It is located just below the connectors for the heater hoses.
The coolant temperature sensor on a 2005 Dodge Neon is located on the cylinder head. It is close to the camshaft position sensor.
The Dodge Neon temperature sensor, often referred to as the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor, is a critical component in the vehicle's engine management system. It monitors the temperature of the engine coolant, providing real-time data to the engine control unit (ECU) to optimize fuel injection, ignition timing, and emissions control. A malfunctioning temperature sensor can lead to poor engine performance, increased fuel consumption, and potential engine overheating. Regular checks and replacements of this sensor can help maintain optimal engine function.
Two wire sensor, just behind where the upper radiator hose hooks to the engine.
Two wire sensor very near where the upper radiator hose hooks to the engine.
12 degrees with the coolant temperature sensor unplugged.12 degrees with the coolant temperature sensor unplugged.
The coolant sensor is the two wire sensor that is next to the thermostat housing.
Yes, a Dodge Neon has a coolant temperature sensor.
The coolant temperature sensor is next to the thermostat housing, behind and under the alternator.
