location for cooling relay on 05 caravan 3.8l
The cooling fan relay is under the hood on the drivers side in the fuse/relay box. The position of this relay is indicated on the underside of the lid for the compartment. The power relay for the cooling or the radiator fan is on the driver side front hood. You will have to take out the driver side head light and you will have to remove the front grill also. The power relay is mounted on the frame when you remove the grill. My van is 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan SXTt.
There is an ac relay on the grand caravan. It is mounted on the inside of the driver side fender.
I would check the Cooling Fan Switch/Relay. Sounds like it is a bad switch and stays 'on' well after it is needed, if it is running the battery down.
Could be the fan relay located on the drivers side frame below the battery.
The engine cooling fan relay on a 2005 Chrysler Grand Voyager is typically located in the power distribution center (PDC), which is usually found under the hood near the battery. You can identify the relay by checking the diagram on the cover of the PDC, which will indicate the specific location of the cooling fan relay. If needed, consult the vehicle's service manual for more detailed information.
The engine computer controlls the relay.
if I'm not mistaken it's in the engine compartment with the fuses, which is under a cover just behind the battery.
on a 1999 jeep grand cherokee where is the coolant fan relay
this could be caused by a fautly cooling temp sensor, sending a false reading to the cooling fan relay, causing the fan to continue running, also, could be caused by a faulty relay, I would rerplace both.
right above your brake pedal there is a box above the fuse box the flasher relay is in there
