On the crew cab, the with the 5' 8" bed, the solenoid is on the front-drivers side corner of the gas tank.
On the 2007 Chevy, it is by the gas tank towards the middle of the box of the truck.
It is near the gas tank. You have to remove the spare tire to access it.
