If you have an external DVD component recorder and a Comcast DVR, just plug the output from the DVR into the input of the recorder. Then you can record your "My Recordings". Start the DVD recorder, then start the saved event. But you will have to leave it unattended, start it when you are not going to watch for the length of the saved event. If you want to record live, it should work the same, but I have not tried it. Just remember that the DVD recorder will record whatever is playing on the screen, so if you change channels or watch a different recording it will record whatever is playing.
YOU HAVE TO WAIT TILL AN EVENT AND THEN A FAT MAN GIVES YOU A RECORDER, RECORD A PIKACHUS CRY PLAY IT BACK 4 TIMES AND THE RECORDER makes a flute noise witch gives you the flute!

The engine in the Villager is a V-6, and like many transverse engines of this type, can be challenging to do head work on in the car. Depending which head is bad, it might be easier to remove the engine to work on it. If you're going to go to all that trouble, it might be more cost effective to replace the whole engine, depending how much you value the vehicle. In any event, I would not have the heads removed without having them inspected carefully and a valve job done. Expect this to cost $1200 to $2000.
The mercury switch installed on your engine is designed to short out the ignition to ground when the engine is tilted out of the water. The intended purpose is as a safety feature in the event of striking an under water obstruction during operation.
