You can find the keypad entry code for a 2005 Mercury Mariner in the owner's manual. You can also find it by contacting the dealership.
Check your owners manual. If you don't have one copy & paste this link. http://www.genuineservice.com/genuineservice/en/gloveboxresults
Go to a dealership. If you bought the keypad from someone other than the dealership, they'll charge a fee to do it. However, if you buy a keyless entry keypad from the dealership, then they'll do it for free. This is one way I know of that I used.
To reset the keyless entry code on a 2005 Ford 500, first, locate the factory code, which is usually found on a sticker inside the owner's manual or on the driver’s side door jamb. Enter the existing code on the keypad to unlock the doors. Then, within five seconds, press the 1-2 button on the keypad to enter programming mode. Finally, enter your new five-digit code, making sure to press the 1-2 button again to save it.
You will have to get ahold of a ford deal and give them your vin # i believe. I had the same problem when i bought my 2004 ls ;).
Ford stoped makeing Lincoln Continental's in 2002.
You have to take off the defrost grille on the passenger side of the dash. Go out side and shine a light in the whole in the dash. The five digit number is on a sticker on one of the electronic boxes located there under the dash
The number is printed on the side of a relay above the fuse box in the right kick panel.
You can get one here. http://www.tradebit.com/filedetail.php/127574546-1981-2005-lincoln-town-car-factory-repair-manual
On a 2005 Lincoln Town Car : Open the drivers door and I believe on the end of the door ( or the latch pillar ) you will see an information sticker that shows the original size of tire on the vehicle from the factory
According to the 2005 Lincoln Aviator Owner Guide : It came from the factory with the ( Motorcraft BXT-65-650 battery ) ( that's BCI group size 65 , 650 cold cranking amps )
