The non-flex fuel also requires a fuel line release tool which is only a round piece of plastic with a lip.You pick the right size from the assorted sizes the kit comes in and basically force it around the fuel line fitting and push the plastic lip in into gap.Push fuel line fitting towards base of plastic ring and if done right will release fitting from old filter.At first you think the lip want fit inside the fitting but you have to work it in there with some determination.Also,when you release the fuel line coming from the fuel tank some fuel will come out under pressure.This is fine it is only the gas in the fuel line itself and will only be a few ounces.Dont forget to turn the key before starting engine to just battery for the fuel pump to fill line again.Last but not least,when you get your filter look and make sure that one end of the filter is screw coming from gas tank and the other is a nipple that goes on a steel braided rubber hose.
