Sometimes. Depends on the vehicle and the year. On my 1990 model, the fuel pump is in the tank. You can check yours by looking at the fuel tank from underneath the left (or right) rear of the car. The tank is located forward of the rear axle. The portal for the fuel tank which includes the the mount for the fuel pump (internal to the tank) is located in the center of the upper rear side of the tank. Tubes and electrical converge there, too.

The fuel pump in the 1998 Plymouth neon is located inside the gas tank.
I'm not exactly sure for a '94 but on a '93 there is no fuse. It is one of a group of fuzable links located behind the battery.
To change a fuel pump from an '87 Plymouth Sundance to a '97 model, you first need to ensure compatibility, as the fuel pump design and electrical connections may differ significantly between the two years. Begin by safely disconnecting the battery and draining the fuel tank. Carefully remove the fuel tank and access the fuel pump assembly, then replace it with the new pump, ensuring all electrical and fuel line connections match. Finally, reassemble the tank, reconnect the battery, and test the system for leaks and proper operation.
On a 1988 Plymouth Sundance, the fuel pump relay is typically located in the power distribution center or fuse box, which is found under the hood near the battery. It may also be mounted on the driver's side of the engine compartment. Consult the owner’s manual for specific diagrams and locations, as configurations can vary.
