Driver's side of the trunk. There's a little door in the carpeting. You will also find the Air Ride switch in the same area.

Relay for what?
To locate the fuel inertia switch in a 1986 Lincoln Mark VII, first, check the trunk area. The switch is typically situated on the right side, near the back panel or near the fuel tank access. If you don't find it there, look under the dashboard on the passenger side, as it may be mounted on the firewall or in a nearby area. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for specific instructions and diagrams.
I believe on that model there is only a relay; no reset like some older Fords have. Mark
The way I did it was to disconnect the wire connector and waited a few seconds and re-connected it.
where is the starter relay located on a 1990 Lincoln mark 7
The starter relay switch is attached to the short positive battery cable; just follow it to the starter relay. I hope this helps you. Mark
As with most Fords if its not in the trunk its at the front passenger side kick panel. Sometimes front drivers side kick panel .
