Pull the fuse for the fuel pump out of the fuse box
The automatic shut down switch for a 1991 Eagle Talon, commonly referred to as the fuel pump cutoff switch, is typically located in the trunk area, near the rear driver's side. Possible your ignition coil is going bad. Is it only when the car is warm?
you can go to an autozone or similar store and have them run a diagnotic, then have them shut it off. :)

Chrysler does not have shut off switches. The fuel system is computer controlled with relays.

The fuel pump inertia ( shut off ) switch is located in the right front passenger footwell , by the kick panel on your 1996 Ford Explorer
On a 1996 Mercury Sable : The fuel pump shut off switch ( inertia switch ) is in the trunk , behind the trunk liner on the passenger side ( there is an access hole )
Chrysler doesn't use fuel shut off switches
