The fuel shut off switch on a 2005 Ford F-150 is located in the passenger's side footwell. It is behind the kick panel and to the left of the fuse box.
I remember reading that there is a reset switch in the trunk of my 1998 Mustang. If the car gets in a wreck the fuel pump will shut off and you have to flip the switch in the trunk to get it to start.
