its connected to a 3 wire harness that has black,green, and white wires into it. the thing itself is on top of the fuel pump, which is on top of the gas tank. on my 02 silverado i have to drop the gas tank to access it.
The sensor you are looking for is an integral part of the door latch.
The knock sensor is located on top of the block in a 4.8 2002 engine. The intake will have to be removed to get to the sensor.
