Sorry but there is none. I have a 2004 Envoy and spent the better part of half hour looking for the bulb socket. I took half the dash apart and it does not exist. Kind strange because my Chilton manual actually shows pictures of taking the glove box out and the unscrewing the trim panel yet they never actually show the socket so I still don't think it exists. I did just order a socket and a bulb and a pressure switch for it and intend on installing my won. I'm going to put one in the center console glove box as well. It's very annoying that you pay 35-40k for a vehicle and there's no glove box light. It would also have ben nice if they installed a couple of lights down below the dash where your feet go like in a lot of cars but apparently the guy who installs them had the day off the day my car was being made. I always wonder if there are some Envoy's that came with lights in the glove box.
The blower motor is behind the glove box. 3 screws below the glove box to expose the glove box bracket then 2 more to take the glove box off.....its big and silver...cant miss it!
To open a 2003 GMC Envoy XL glove box without the handle, you can try using a flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the glove box door at the latch area. Be careful not to damage the surrounding plastic. Alternatively, you could check if the glove box is locked; if so, use the key or the central locking mechanism to unlock it. If these methods fail, you may need to remove the screws holding the glove box in place or consult a professional for assistance.
The 2005 GMC Envoy brake light fuse will be in the fuse box. The fuse box is in the engine compartment. The brake light fuse will be in the second column, third from the top.
Can you tell me how to remove the box covering the spark plugs in a 2002 gmc envoy slt 4.2
If it has a glove box light the light will be located inside the glove box. Just look and see if there is one.
I have a 2002 GMC envoy xl, not sure which box is for accessory power, but there is a box under the hood right behind your battery and one under the back seat (drivers side)
To the right of the glove box.
some of them had a glove box light inside the glove box.
In a 1995 GMC Suburban, the glove box is typically equipped with a simple electrical mechanism that may include a light for illumination. This light is powered by the vehicle's electrical system, usually connected to the fuse box, and is activated when the glove box door is opened. The switch that triggers the light is often a simple push-button or lever that is engaged by the door's movement. If there are any additional features, like a lock mechanism, it may also involve basic electrical components for added security.
Take out the glove-box, the computer is located on the right side of the glove box.
On a 2004 envoy it is under the hood on the drivers side toward the firewall it is probably in the same place on an 05 model.
behind the glove box
